x^2 + 8x + 20

Discriminent = b^2 - 4ac

= (8)^2 - 4(1)(20)

= 64 - 80

= - 16

Discriminent is negative.

So, the given polynomial does not have any root.

a=1, b=8,c=20................................................. .............Value of the discriminant = b2 - 4 ac=(8)^2-4×1×20 =64-80=-16 . ...The value of thediscriminant is negative i.e less than zero.
Hence, the quadratic equation x2 +8x+20 has no real zeroes.
