Solve the inequalities for real x for the following equation: 3x-7>5x-1.

here is answer take the following step( s) into consideration !!!

3x -7 > 5x -1


add both side 1

3x -6 > 5x



subtract both side by 3x

-6 > 2x

-3> x

Subtract 5x from both sides:

-2x - 7 > -1


Add 7 to both sides:

-2x > 6


Divide both sides by -2:

x < -3
