x+\dfrac{x}{2} +\dfrac{x}{3} \ \textless \ 11

Combine like terms:

\dfrac{11x}{6} \ \textless \ 11

Multiply both sides by 6:

11x \ \textless \ 66

Divide both side by 11:

x \ \textless \ 6
