x =  - 2 \: or \: x =  \frac{3}{2}

SOLUTION :-

 {2x}^{2}  + x + 6 = 0 \\  {2x}^{2}  + 4x - 3x + 6 = 0 \\ 2x(x + 2) - 3(x  + 2) = 0 \\ x + 2 = 0 \: or \: 2x -  3 = 0 \\ x =  - 2 \: or \: x =  \frac{3}{2}
