solve the linear equation
2x+y=9
where x+y=4​

x + y = 4........(2)

Subtracting eqation 2 from 1

2x + y = 9

- x + y = 4

x = 5

Substituting x=5 in equation 2

x + y = 4

5 + y = 4

y = (-1)

(5, -1) is the solution of given equation..
