Given:

9x + 4y < 36; x ≥ 0; y ≥ 0

To find:

Solve the linear inequality graphically.

Solution:

From the given information, we have the data as follows.

The equations:

9x + 4y < 36; x ≥ 0; y ≥ 0

As these equations, x ≥ 0; y ≥ 0 are direct, so, we will proceed with the left one

9x + 4y < 36

From the above 2 equations, we can take the values of x and y as, x = 0 and y = 0

When x = 0,

9 (0) + 4y < 36

4y < 36

y < 9

When y = 0,

9x + 4 (0) < 36

9x < 36

x < 4

Therefore, at (0, 9) and (4, 0) are the solution of the 9x + 4y < 36; x ≥ 0; y ≥ 0.

The graph is as attached below.
