these are very easy question so the solution are
1》the first question can be solved logically because we can clearly see the question is telling us that in 10sec bullet came into its starting point. so what is that ment to me is that 5sec it took to reach its maximum distance and 5sec in free fall so the answer must be initial velocity=49m/sec and finial velocity also same.so that is why it took bullet to reach its starting point in 10sec
2》you can find it by using first equation of motion v=u+at
v=0
u=?
a=acceleration due to gravity that is 9.8m/sec
t=3sec
and now you can solve it further
