$\frac{x}{3} = \frac{y}{6} \\ 6x = 3y \\ 6x - 3y = 0 \\ (6x - 3y = 0) \times 2 \\ 12x - 6y = 0...........(i)$

Step 2

$(4x + 2y = 4) \times 3 \\ 12x + 6y =12......(ii)$

Step 3

subtracting equation (i) from equation (ii)

12y=12

$y = 1$

puting value of y in equation (i)

$x = \frac{1}{2}$
