Hey friend here is the solution for this question.....

Step 1

 \frac{x}{3}  =  \frac{y}{6}  \\ 6x = 3y \\ 6x - 3y = 0 \\ (6x - 3y = 0) \times 2 \\ 12x - 6y = 0...........(i)

Step 2

(4x + 2y = 4) \times 3 \\ 12x + 6y =12......(ii)

Step 3

subtracting equation (i) from equation (ii)

12y=12

y = 1

puting value of y in equation (i)

   x = \frac{1}{2}
