Solve the pair of eq by elimination method
2x+3y=8
4x+6y=7

Answer: no solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

To slove by elimination, multiply the first equation by 2..

We get 4x+6y = 16..

now subtract the 2nd equation from first one...

(4x+6y)-(4x+6y) = 16-7

So, 0 = 9.....

This is not true indicating no such values of x & y are possible
