Step-by-step explanation:

5/(x+y)+2/(x-y)=3 --------(1)

15/(x+y)-4/(x-y)= -1---------(2)

(1)×3=>15/(x+y)+6/(x-y)=9

(2)×1=>15/(x+y)-4/(x-y)= -1

(-) (+) (+)

--------------------------------------

10/(x-y)=10

=> x-y=1

putting the value of x-y in equation (1) we can get

5/(x+y)+2/1=3

=>5/(x+y)= 3-2

=>5/(x+y)=1

=>x+y=5

x-y=1

x+y=5

--------------

2x=6

x=3

x-y=1

=>3-y=1

=> -y= -2 so, x=3

=>y=2 y=2
