let take x = 3 and y =1
then
1. 2(3)-1=5
6-2=5
5=5
2. 3(3)+2(1)=11
9+2=11
11=11

In the 1 eqn take everything to rhs except y to get x value
So the eqn becomes
Y = 2x-5
Substitute value of y in the eqn 2 get the respective values
So eqn 2 now becomes
3x + 2(2x-5) = 11
3x+4x= 11+10
7x=21
X=3
Now substitute x=3 in any eqn to find value of y
Y=2x-5
Y= 2(3) -5
Y=1
So the eqn becomes
Y = 2x-5
Substitute value of y in the eqn 2 get the respective values
So eqn 2 now becomes
3x + 2(2x-5) = 11
3x+4x= 11+10
7x=21
X=3
Now substitute x=3 in any eqn to find value of y
Y=2x-5
Y= 2(3) -5
Y=1
