5x+2y=15--------(eq1)

7x-y = 2 ----------(eq2)

multiply 2 with (eq2) and add (eq1)

5x+2y= 15

14x-2y = 4

19x = 19

x = 1

from (eq2)

(7×1)-y = 2

-y = 2-7

-y = -5

y= 5

:. x= 1 , y=2
