Put x= 0 in eq 1

5x - y =5

5×0 - y = 5

0 -y = 5

y = - 5

Put y= 0 in eq 1

5x - 0 = 5

5x = 5

x = 5/5 =1

Put x= 0 in eq 2

3x - 2y = - 4

3×0 -2y = -4

0 -2y = -4

2y = 4

y = 4/2 = 2

Put y= 5 in eq 2

3x - 2×5= -4

3x -10 = -4

x = 6/3 = 2
