Step-by-step explanation:

Answer :

Consider the given equation

3x − y = 3 ……………..(1)

9x − 3y = 9 ……………(2)

By substitution method

3x − y = 3

y = 3x – 3………..(3)

x = (3 + y)/3……..(4)

9x – 3(3x – 3) = 9

9x – 9x + 9 = 9

∴ Infinite solutions since both lines same

3x − y = 3

3(3x − y) = 3 × 3

3x – y = 3
