x = 2 and y = 3

Solving by the method of Substitution

Given,

9x - 10y + 12 = 0

Solving for x, by transposing all the other values.

9x = 10y - 12

x = (10y - 12)/9       - (1)

2x + 3y -13 = 0

2x + 3y = 13           - (2)

Substituting value of x from equation(1) in equation(2)

2(10y - 12)/9 + 3y = 13

20y - 24 + 27y = 117

47y = 117 + 24

y = 141/47 = 3

Substituting value of y in equation (1)

x = (10*3 - 12)/9

x = (30 - 12)/9 = 18/9

x = 2

Therefore, Value of x = 2 and y = 3
