2x+3y=8

x+2y=5

multiply second equation by 2

2x+3y=8

2x+2y=5

by subtracting

y=5

put y in 1

Answer:

Given

2x+3y=8                                      -----------------A.

x+2y=5                                         -----------------B.

We have to solve it by elimination method

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplying B. by 2 ;

2x + 4y = 10                                     -----------------C.

Solving A. and C. by elimination method ;

We get , y = 2 ; x = 1

Hope this helps ; please mark as brainliest
