Let the no. of two rupee coins be x.

Then the no. of one rupee coins will be 3x.

So,

$2x + 3x = 150 \\ \\ 5x = 150 \\ \\ x = \frac{150}{5} \\ \\ x = 30$

Therefore the no. of two rupee coins = 30

And the no.of one rupee coins

$= 30 \times 3 \\ \\ = 90$
