One rational number = (2+3)/2=2.5

Let an irrational number that exist be x

Therefore,

2 < x < 3

or,

4 < x² < 9

Now, if x is irrational, then it's square must not be a perfect square.

Therefore, we have to find a number between 4 and 9 Which is not perfect.

One number is 7

Therefore,

x²=7

or, x=√7

Therefore,

Rational and irrational number between 2 and 3 are 2.5 and √7.
