1) lets consider mass of sodium sulphate required to it's 20% = n

then,

n/n+100 ×100 = 20%

100n/ n+100 = 20/100

100n = n+100 × 20/100

100n × 100/20 =n +100

100n × 5= n+ 100

500n = n+100

499n =100

n = 100/499

n= 0.20

so the amount of sodium sulphate required is 0.20g

2) percentage of solution = 110/550 × 100

= 20%
