let the number be xy.
this number is represented as 10x+y.
sum of digits of number is x+y.
6(x+y)=10x+y ...eq 1
10y+x+9= 10x+y ....eq2
on simplifies the equation we get
-4x+5y=0 ...eq3
-9x+9y=-9 or -x+y=-1 ...eq4
on substitution of the value of y=x-1 from eq4 into eq3
-4x+5(x-1)=0
x=5
substitute the value of x into eq 4
-5+y=-1
y=4
so the number is 54.
let's check it is correct or not
6(5+4)=54
45+9= 54
so answer is correct.the number is 54.
