Solve the problem following equation 2x-3y=-1

Solve the problem following equation 2x-3y=-13x+5y=5

Solution

Given equation

2x - 3 y = -1...(1)

3x + 5 y = 5....(2)

multiple by 3 in (1) and 2 in (2) ,and subtract its

6x-9y= -3..(3)

6x+10y= 10..(4)

subtract its

-19y = -13

y = 13/19

by (1)

2x -3×13/19= -1

=>2 x = -1 +39/19

=>2x = (-19+39)/19

=>2x = 20/19

= > x = 20/(19×2)

=>x = 10/19
