Deceleration is the negative acceleration.

GIVEN :

Velocity =30km/h

time = 5s

We know that

a =(v-u)/t

where v is final velocity and u is the initial velocity.

Therefore , Deceleration = -(v-u)/t

Initial velocity is zero because it is at rest.

Therefore

(30-0)/5

30/5

= - 6 m/s²

Therefore Deceleration is equals to 6 m/s²
