1/f=1/u+1/v
1/-10=1/-30+1/v
1/-10-(-1/30)=1/v
-1/10+1/30=1/v
-3/30+1/30=1/v
1/v=-2/30
v=-30/2
v=-15
h2/h1=-v/u
h2/5=-(-15)/-30
h2/5=-15/30
h2/5=-1/2
h2=-1/2*5
h2=-2.5
therefore the image will be 1/2 times big i.e. of 2.5cm which is negative i.e. inverted
