Question :

2. The length of the rectangle is 5 cm more than its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 62cm, find it's area.

Answer:

So, As the Length of the rectangle is given and the Peremetre is given First we will have to find the Breathe of the rectangle.....

Formula : (P÷2)-B

so, (62÷2)-5

==> 62÷2=31

==> 31-5=26

Now, As we got the breathe now it will easy be able to find the Area..As u know the formula of finding Area

Formula : L×B

so now lets do the formula

L=5cm

B=26cm

==> 26×5

==> 130 cm

== so know u got your answer

== Area of rectangle is 130 cm
