Solve the problems x-3y-7=0 3x-3y-15=0

Answer:

Here x-3y = 7 and 3x-3y = 15

so now substract 1st equation from 2nd one :

x-3y = 7

- 3x- 3y = 15

-2x = - 8

therefore,

2x = 8

x = 4 ___(a)

now substitute (a) in any eq.

hence,

4 - 3y = 7

-3y = 3

y = -1
