Solve the quadratic equation-
1/2a+2b is equal to 1/2a+1/b+1/2x

put X=1
1/2a+1/2(2b)+1/2=0
1/2a+2b(1/2)+1/2=0
1/2a+2b(1/2)= -1/2
a+2b= -1
a+2b+1=0
