2x^2 - 7x + 5 = 0

2x^2 -7x = -5

x^2 - 3.5x = -2.5

x^2 - 3.5x + (1/2 × 1.75 )^2 = -2.5 + (1/2 × 1.75)^2

( x - 3.5 )^2 = 0.5625

(x - 3.5)^2 = 0.5625

\sqrt{(x-3.5){^2}} =  \sqrt{0.5625}

x = ±0.75 + 3.5

x = 4.25 or x = 2.75
