Answer: solve using Sridharacharya method of quadratic equation

Step-by-step explanation: In the sum, a=2, b=1 and c=4

Formula = [-b ± √(b² - 4ac)]÷2a

=> [-1 ± √(1² - 4×2×4)]÷2×2

=> [-1 ± √(1 - 32)]÷4

=> [-1 ± √(-31)]÷4

=> [-1 + √(-31)]÷4 = 0          or         [-1 - √(-31)]÷4 = 0

x = - √(-31) + 1                    or         x = √(-31) + 1 = 0
