Here's the answer:

4n^2+ 5n-636= 0
=> n^2 + (5/4)n - 159= 0
=> n² + (53/4)n - 12n - 159 = 0
=> n(n+(53/4))-12(n-12)
=> (n-12)(n+(53/4))

•°• n= 12 & n= -(53/4)
