Answer:

2/x2  - 5/x + 2 = 0

⇒ 2 – 5x + 2x2/x2 = 0

 ⇒ 2x2 – 5x + 2 = 0

⇒ 2x2 – 4x – x  + 2 = 0

⇒ 2x(x – 2) - 1(x - 2) = 0

⇒ (x – 2)(2x – 1) = 0

⇒ x – 2 = 0

Or     2x – 1 = 0

⇒ x  = 2

or    x = 1/2 are two roots of the equation.

Answer:

x = 1/2, 2

Step-by-step explanation:

2/x²-5/x+2=0

2-5x+2x² = 0

2x²-5x+2= 0

2x²-4x-x+2 = 0

2x(x-2)-1(x-2) = 0

(2x-1)(x-2) = 0

x = 1/2, 2
