5 (x-5)(x+5) = 55

==> (x-5)(x+5) = 55/5

==> x^2 - 25 = 11

==> x^2 -25 -11 = 0

==> x^2 - 36 = 0

==> (x)^2 - (6)^2 =0

==> (x+6)(x-6) =0

either of them equals to 0

if (x+6) =0
then x = -6

if (x-6)= 0
then x= 6

hence, x= -6,6

hope this helps...
