Question:-

  • Solve the quadratic equation by factorisation method ,
  1.  {x}^{2}  - 8x + 15 = 0

Answer:-

The given equation is x

  • −8x+15=0

  • => x^2 −8x+15=0

  • => x^2−5x−3x+15=0

  • => x(x−5)−3(x−5)=0

  • => (x−3)(x−5)=0

x=3,5

  1.  {x}^{2}  - 15x + 54 = 0
  • x² - 15x + 54 = 0

  • + 54 = 0=> x² - 9x-6x + 54 = 0

  • + 54 = 0=> x(x-9) - 6(x-9) = 0

  • -9) = 0=> (x-6)(x-9) = 0

  • -9) = 0=> x = 6

x = 9
