x (2x + 5) = 3

2x² + 5x = 3

2x² +5x - 3 = 0

2x² + 6x - x - 3=0

2x (x + 3) - 1(x + 3) = 0

(2x-1) (x + 3) = 0

2x - 1 = 0 or x + 3 = 0

2x = 1 or x = - 3

x =1/2

x = p

Therefore, p = 1/2 or p = - 3

hey mate here is ur ans ♡♡♤》》

X=P is solution of given equation

so on replacing X with P

P (2P+5)=3

2p  {}^{2}  +  5p = 3

 {2p}^{2}  + 5p - 3 = 0

  {2p +}^{2}  + 6p - p - 3 = 0

2p(p + 3) - 1(p + 3) = 0

(2p - 1)(p + 3) = 0

so

P=1/2 or -3

hope it helps u
