Step-by-step explanation:

9x²+7x-2 = 0

9x² + 9x -2x -2 = 0

9x(x+1) -2 (x+1) = 0

(9x-2)(x+1) = 0

here, 9x-2 = 0

9x = 2

x = 2/9

x+1 = 0

x = -1

-1 & 2/9 are the zeroes of the polynomial

9x-2 & x+1 are the factors of the polynomial

9x²+ 7x - 2 = 0

x = - b ±√b²-4ac/2a

x= -7 ± √7²- 4(9)-2/ 2(9)

x= -7 ± √ 49 + 72 / 18

x= -7 ± √ 121 / 18

x= -7 ± 11 / 18

x = - 7 + 11/ 18 x= -7 -11/18

x= 4/18 x= -18/18

x= 2/9. x= -1

I hope it will help you mate!
