Discriminant = b² - 4ac
= (-3)² - 4(1)(-9)
= 9 + 36
= 45 --[ roots are real n' distinct. D > 0 ]
Applying quadratic formula :-
x = -b ± √D/ 2a
x = -(-3) + √45 / 2 × 1
x = 3 ± √45/ 2
