The both 2 Ohm resistor are in series.

R = 2 + 2 = 4 ohm

Then, this R and that 1 Ohm resistor are in parallel.

Ra^-1 = (1/4) + (4/4) = 5/4 ohm

Ra = 4/5

These three [ 4/5 , 1 , 1 ] are in series

S = 4/5 + 1 + 1

= 14/5 ohm

D) None of these
