Bearing is the angle measured clockwise from northern direction .

Figure A

Bearing = 55° .

Figure B

Bearing = 90°

Figure C

Bearing = 130°

Figure D

Bearing = 360° - 150°

= 210° .

Figure E

Bearing = 360° - 90°

= 270°

Figure F

Bearing = 360° - 40°

= 320°

Question 3 :

Bearing should be calculated from N . .

Bearing of A = 45°

Bearing of B = 45° + 75° = 120°

Bearing of C = 120° + 60° + 30°

= 210°

Bearing of D = 210° + 60°

= 270°

Bearing of E = 270° + 40°

=310°

Here is your answer

Note

1)Bearings are here measured by the angles they form or the value of angle A in all the figures.

2)Sum of all angles at a point is 360°.

- - - - - - - - (i)

Now,

A) Figure 1

55°

=ACUTE ANGLE

B) Figure 2

90° or perpendicular.

=RIGHT ANGLE

C) Figure 3

130°

=OBTUSE ANGLE

D) Figure 4

Using (i) =>

150°+ A =360°

=>A = 210°

=REFLEX ANGLE

E)Figure 5

Using (i)

90°+A = 360°

=>A = 270°

=REFLEX ANGLE

F)Figure 6

40°+ A = 360°

=>A = 320°

=REFLEX ANGLE
