2 spheres are repelling mean that they have same kind of charge.

let both charges be q.

given F is force between them

F=Kq.q/r^2

in second case uncharged C sphere is kept in contact with B.

charges will share upon these 2 spheres

The new charge on B and C will be

q/2 and q/2

it is kept in mid way so R=r/2

F B on C=k(q/2)(q/2)/(r/2)^2

F A on C=k(q)(q/2)/(r/2)^2

Fnet on C= F B-F A(see attachment for good understanding)

Fnet=kq^2/r^2 -2.kq^2/r^2

Fnet=F-2F

Fnet=F(I took modulus)

option c is correct. If I did any mistake pls intimate me.
