Given :  p(x) = x² - 4√3x + 3

On comparing this with ax² + bx + c, we get

a = 1, b = - 4√3, c = 3

It is given that α and β are the zeroes of the above polynomial.

Now,

• Sum of zeroes = α + β = - b/a

α + β = - (- 4√3)/1

α + β = 4√3

• Product of zeroes = αβ = c/a

αβ = 3/1

αβ = 3

To Find : α + β - αβ

Putting known values in it.

(4√3) - (3)

4√3 - 3

 √3(4 - √3)✓✓

SOLUTION:-

Given plT) = r2 - 4V3+3

On comparing this with ax? + bx + C, we

get

a - 1, b=-4/3, c = 3

It is given that a and B are the zeroes

of the above polynomia.

Now,

Sum of zeroes =a -+ß= -b/a

atß=-(-4V3)/1

- a t8=4y/3

Product of zeroes Faß = e/a

aß=3/1

aß = 3
