Answer:

Area of trapezium = 1/2 ×h ×(sum of parallel sides(a+b)

Given : A = 50 m²

h = 5(√5-1)m

50 = 1/2 × 5(√5-1) × (x+x+10)

50×2 = 5(√5-1) × (2x+10)

100 = 5(√5-1) ×(2x+10)

20 = (√5-1) 2(x+5)

10 = (√5-1) × (x+5)

x+5 = 10/√5-1

x + 5 = 10(√5+1)/(√5)²-1

x+5 = 10(√5+1)/4

x+5 = 5(√5+1)/2

x = 5(√5+1)/2-5

x = 5√5+5-10/2

x = 5√5-5/2

x = 5(√5-1)/2
