Step-by-step explanation:

Solution :-

1)

Given equation :

(3/4)(7x-1)-[2x-(1-x)/2] = x+(3/2)

=> [(21x-3)/4]-[{4x-(1-x)}/2] = (2x+3)/2

=> [(21x-3)/4]-[(4x-1+x)/2] = (2x+3)/2

=> [(21x-3)/4]-[(5x-1)/2] = (2x+3)/2

LCM of 4 and 2 = 4

=> [(21x-3)-2(5x-1)]/4 = (2x+3)/2

=> (21x-3-10x+2)/4 = (2x+3)/2

=> (11x-1)/4 = (2x+3)/2

On applying cross multiplication then

=> 2(11x-1) = 4(2x+3)

=> 22x-2 = 8x+12

=> 22x-8x = 12+2

=> 14x = 14

=> x = 14/14

=> x = 1

Therefore, x = 1

2)

Given equation :

(-5x+2)/4 + (2x-4)/2 = (-5x-22)/4

LCM of 4 and 2 = 4

=> [(-5x+2)+2(2x-4)]/4 = (-5x-22)/4

=> (-5x+2+4x-8)/4 = (-5x-22)/4

=> (-x-6)/4 = (-5x-22)/4

On cancelling 4 both sides then

=> -x-6 = -5x-22

=>-x+5x = -22+6

=> 4x = -16

=> x = -16/4

=> x = -4

Therefore, x = -4

Answer :-

1) The value of x = 1

2) The value of x = -4
