Given

x = 4(x+10)/5

Using Cross multiplication

5x = 4(x + 10)

5x = 4x + 40

5x - 4x = 40

x = 40

Answer

x = 40

Now Verify Our answer

x = 4(x+10)/5

Using Cross multiplication

5x = 4(x + 10)

5(40) = 4(40 + 10)

Answer:

Given :-

\mapsto \sf x =\: \dfrac{4}{5}\: (x + 10)

To Find :-

\mapsto What is the value of x.

Solution :-

\longrightarrow \sf x =\dfrac{4}{5}\: (x + 10)

\implies \sf x =\: \dfrac{4(x + 10)}{5}

\implies \sf x =\: \dfrac{4x + 40}{5}

By doing cross multiplication we get,

\implies \sf 5x =\: 4x + 40

\implies \sf 5x - 4x =\: 40

\implies \sf\boxed{\bold{x =\: 40}}

\therefore The value of x is 40 .
