tan θ / sec θ + 1 = sec θ + 1/tan θ

tan²θ = (sec θ - 1)(sec θ + 1)

tan² θ = sec²θ - 1

sec²θ - tan²θ = 1 [Trigonometric identity]

1 = 1

LHS = RHS

Trigonometric identities :

sin² θ + cos²θ = 1

sec²θ - tan² θ = 1

cosec²θ - cot²θ = 1
