Heya....!!

Suppose the velocities of the ball are v1 and v2
Collision is head on , so

v2-v1 = e(u1-u2)

➡ v2-v1 = eu ....... ( i )

By the Law of Conservation of momentum

mu+m×0 = mv1+mv2
OR
v1+v2= u.......... ( ii )

v2 = u/2(1-e)....... (iii)

From equations

➡➡ v1/v2 = 1-e/1+e

This is the required ratio of velocities .
