  • Solve the pair of simultaneous linear equation.

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Solution:-}

3x - y - 2 = 0

 \implies 3x - y = 2 \: ....(i)

2x + y = 8 \: ....(ii)

Adding equation (i) and (ii), we get,

5x = 10

 \implies x = 2

Now, putting the value of x in equation (i), we get,

3 \times 2 - y = 2

 \implies 6 - y = 2

 \implies y =  6 - 2

 \implies y = 4

  • x = 2
  • y = 4
