Answer:

2x-3y=9 equation 1

2x+y=13 equation 2

multiply equation 2 by 3

6x +3y=39 equation

adding equation 1 and 3

2x - 3y = 9

6x + 3y = 39

8x =48

x= 48/8

x= 6

subtituting x= 6 in equation 2

2x+y = 13

2×6+y=13

12+y =13

therefore y = 13-12

y = 1

x= 6, y= 1
