the question is wrong

so according to me

Given equations are

2x+3y=12 ....(1)

and 5x−3y=9 ....(2)

(here it will not "+" instead of that "-" will be there)

Add both the equations to eliminate y, we get

7x=21

⇒x=3

Substitute this value in equation (1),

2(3)+3y=12

⇒6+3y=12

⇒3y=6

⇒y=2

hope it works......................

Step-by-step explanation:

5x + 3y = 9

2x + 3y = 12

Subtracting equation 1 from 2

-3x = 3

x = -1

putting x= -1 in equation 1

5(-1) +3y = 9

-5 + 3y = 9

3y = 9+5

y = 14/3
