5x+4y=-14-------(1)eqⁿ

3x+14y=0---------(2)eqⁿ

3×1 eqⁿ-5×2 eqⁿ

15x+12y=-42
- 15x+42y=0
____________
-30y=-42
y=42/30
y=1.4

put the value in eqⁿ(2)
3x+14×1.4=0
3x+19.6=0
3x=-19.6
x=-19.6/3

Here we have to find x and y

Here,
1st equation is 5x + 4y = - 14
And 2nd is 3x = - 10y - 4y

In 2nd equation
3x = - 10y - 4y
x = - 10y - 4y/3
x = - 14y/3

Now,
1st equation
5x + 4y = - 14
Now,
We know x = - 14y/3
By replacing it

So,
5(-14y/3) + 4y = - 14
-70y/3 + 4y = - 14
-70y/3 + 12y/3 = - 14
-58y/3 = - 14
Y = 14/58 * 3
Y =42/58 or 0.7241( approx)

Now x = - 14y/3 = - 14(42/58)/3
= 98/29 or 3.37(approx)

So,
X = 98/29
Y= 42/58
