x - 3 - y =9 --> x - y = 12 ----eq2

adding eq1 and eq2

5x + y + x - y = 11+12

6x = 23

x = 23/6

x- y = 12

23/6 - y = 12

y = 23/6 - 12 = (23-72)/6 = -49/6
