2x+y=5,both sides multiple by 3

then,6x+3y=15 ~1

3x-y=5, both sides multiple by 2

then ,6x-2y=10~2

equation , subtract 1-2

6x+3y=15

6x-2y=10

5y=5

y=1

6x+3×1=15

6x=12

x=2
